In response to our call for entries for this year’s Tech Champions project, almost 300 submissions were received from FT readers, identifying European companies that are using technology to meet today’s business challenges .
FT reporters vetted them, researched the nominated companies, and helped draw up shortlists.
We are looking for nominations in ten categories this year, and have exchanged the ‘Hospitality’ sector – which was featured in 2021 after the pandemic lockdowns – for ‘Energy’, which has become the center of attention for innovators today year:
For each sector category, a shortlist of four or five companies is created and presented to our panel of judges for consideration. The winners will be announced here, and in a magazine attached to the FT newspaper, on 21 November.
