Sempra Infrastructure and AVANGRID announced plans to develop US green hydrogen and ammonia projects.

AVANGRID, a member of the Iberdrola Group (NYSE: AGR), and Sempra Infrastructure, a subsidiary of Sempra (NYSE: SRE) (BMV: SRE), announce that they have entered into a head of agreement (HOA) for the potential joint development of US green hydrogen and ammonia projects powered by renewable sources.

The HOA provides a framework for companies to identify, identify, and potentially develop large-scale green hydrogen projects to help meet the energy and decarbonization needs of US and international customers.
