Saag
Arguably the biggest breakout hit so far this year, Stray chronicles a stray cat who is separated from his family and must navigate a mysterious and long-abandoned cybercity to find his way home.
This game is truly masterful, with beautiful graphics and realistic gameplay accompanied by a stellar soundtrack. The environmental design is the main attribute of an already amazing game, from a cliff head overlooking a lush green forest and a huge waterfall, to a neon hyper-cyber setting that reflects bright, bright lighting against dirty and well-lived spaces.
Of course, one of the biggest draws is how well Stray conveys the cats’ real-life body movements and language. Seeing the protagonist move with such beauty gives the game a sense of realism to better place the player among the more beautiful elements. Not to mention some of the most lovable NPCs around, who also happen to be robots.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
The original version, which was released for PS4 in 2018, received due praise for its simple but deep and intuitive combat, the main skill system that allows you to better customize Spider-Man’s abilities in your style of play, the living in New York City. environment, and the perfect decadent web-swinging.
And with the arrival of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC, a new audience will be able to experience this amazing game along with some new content and updates. The biggest is Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps, with three story chapters and additional missions and challenges.
Graphics are also improved such as ray tracing, as well as other quality of life changes such as customizable controls, and ultra-wide Monitor support. With all these features, the PC remastered version looks to be a worthwhile addition to the family of Spider-Man titles.
Power Washing Simulator
This unconventional option is one of the best PC games around for the neat freak in all of us. In Power Wash Simulator, you can spray dirty objects and locations with a high-pressure power washer until they’re shiny again.
While the premise is simple, its execution is what draws players to try this game. You can completely customize your power washer with new parts as well as a wide variety of cleaning solutions, then wash all the dirt and grime from every item to your heart’s content. This is a game intended for fans of YouTube accounts that clean ugly dirty carpets and couches, as well as a game that supports viewers to become more obsessed with watching patios, parks, and cars that get the power wash treatment.
Power Wash Simulator is proof that all you need from a great game is compelling gameplay with a simple yet rewarding premise well executed. Because sometimes you just want to vent and play a stress-relieving title that helps you relax.
Digimon Survive
The long-awaited Digimon title from Bandai Namco, Digimon Survive is two parts visual novel and one part tactical RPG. Set in the modern day, several preteens are thrown into the increasingly dangerous digital world and forced to survive with their newfound monster partners.
The art and music are great and the characters flesh out the story well. It’s better to get your heart out naturally, because any of these kids can die if you make a mistake.
It works well as a hybrid game, as both play styles are well executed. It’s also satisfying to bond with your fellow classmates and fellow Digimon, as it affects your attacks during battle and the final path you take.
Digimon Survive takes the premise of Digimon Adventure 01 and puts an incredibly dark twist on it, showing the difficulties of keeping a group of vulnerable children alive in a world that desperately wants to they will die.
Kill the Princess
Currently as a demo, Slay the Princess is a visual novel title that sees you have to kill a princess locked in a cabin basement, or else she will destroy the world. Or so the Narrator tells you, reaching Stanley Parable levels of self-awareness and thrust.
The artwork is beautiful and the voice actors do an amazing job bringing their characters to life. There are a wide number of dialogue paths that separate unique dialogue trees, which not only lead to different endings but also allow you to roleplay your player character as you see fit.
Each path also sees the Princess affected by the same choices, her form changing to match the hero’s perception of her. It is a terrifying and deeply psychological game that challenges the conventions of videogame storytelling and the often black and white goals. It will be interesting to see how this game evolves by the time the full version is released.
