Globalization still has its components but over time, the world has been moved to take advantage of this transnational, multilateral and borderless system, thus the countries that were previously on the advantage side slipped to a less advantageous position that made them that is aggrieved by that system.

Globalization is wrongly labeled as a product of western efforts. On the contrary, all countries contribute to achieve it in their domains. Alexander’s expedition to Persia and then to the subcontinent from Macedonia led to globalization. The invention of the wheel literally increased the speed at which this system began to exceed the boundaries, but it was also accompanied by the invention of the Zero to speed it up. As the zero was invented in the subcontinent and then traveled to the Arab world in the conquest of Sindh by the Arabs, and by using this novel zero, Al Khwarizmi created algebra. All these phenomena contribute to globalization. Not finished yet. The great invention of printing in dynastic China long preceded the appearance of the Gutenberg press in France. This newspaper brought Europeans out of the dark ages into the age of enlightenment, which was the beginning of globalization. The invention of gunpowder and tools in dynastic China also contributed to its domain. All these inventions that prompted the system were invented in different countries pointing to something else.

Today, it has become evident that globalization is not given to a country that is often considered as a gift of the west, on the contrary, globalization is the Global heritage, as the Global world has contributed to it from the Sinic civilization to the Muslim civilization. and from the Muslim civilization to antiquity. Greek civilization. The global east contributed as much as the global west did. Therefore, globalization is the international heritage, which must have a specific date of birth.

Now it is necessary to define a moment that can be considered as the birth of globalization to avoid confusion. Paul Kennedy, stated in his book entitled “The rise and fall of the great powers”, that 1501 was the watershed moment in human history and the beginning of globalization. After diving deep into the evidence of the contribution of globalization from around the world, then one better face the question why globalization is always considered a legacy of the West. It must now be dealt with.

All progress in human history after 1501 was achieved in the western world alone. Because all the aspects of globalization that the world has witnessed were given by the West to the world, which over time, monopolized the forces of globalization thus becoming the legacy of the West despite the fact that it has been established so far. Until now, the west has achieved a monopoly, it’s time to harvest.

So, from 1453, when it was the beginning of the age of enlightenment and from 1492, the age of exploration, Portuguese navigator, Vasco da Gama, discovered the routes from Western Europe to the East by way of the cape in good hope, and in 1498, an Italian explorer, the voyages of Christopher Columbus were followed by the same suit. Unfortunately, these discoveries were not useful for the natives of the newly explored area because the explorers considered themselves superior in terms of navigational techniques and skills, they began to colonize in different parts of the world to get the rich fortunes that the aboriginals would have. there is. This will also mark the beginning of colonialism.

Over time, explorers colonized central, latin and north America. On September 31,1599 the charter was given by the queen of Great Britain to the EIC, the Red dragon hidden in the subcontinent in 1608. These 800 people finally created an empire until 1757 after the Battle of Plassey. During this period, the west witnessed the emergence of enlightenment, science, reason alone at the beginning of the industrial revolution. However, it is safe to state that the industrial revolution emerged while unquestionably extracting and exploiting natural, human and other resources from their colonies. As the famous Shashi tharoor claims in his book ill-fated empire that India’s share of global GDP dropped from 23 percent when they entered India to only 4 percent by the time they left.

At that time, it was profitable and inevitable for the globalizers or better known as the colonizers to uncontrollably take those resources to continue industrial production; the wheel, running. To legitimize this useless exploitation, Adim Smith’s theory of laissez faire, free trade market economy and free flow of goods is enough. Meanwhile, after the declaration of American independence in 1776, everything went in favor of the west until 2008 and with the development of globalization accompanied by the industrial revolution in 1908.

After 2008, the Globe started to shift so the West which was once on the advantage side seems to have fallen on the less advantage side. Globalization is the same in that the main forces remain unchanged but what changes is who is more profitable than others.

In the past fifty years, the Global East, more precisely after the end of colonialism from 1945, emerged to take the benefits from globalization, apparently, the rise of Japan from the ashes, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, China and India. Indicators such as GDP, industry, production and infrastructure development confirm the statement. This world order is definitely not acceptable to the west who consider globalization as their heritage so it must always be in their favor. Surely this is a false wish.

Because of this discontent, the West has recently been immersed in populism, hyper nationalism, inter alia, Brexit. In the form of these manifestations, the west shrugs its shoulders from the responsibility of the damage they have done to the environment, the countries and the Global world through exploitation and extraction.

Now it logically comes to mind why globalization has returned to the west. The drivers behind making the west cautious are like the improvement in people’s living standards, the reduction in the number of workers that is always inevitable for prosperity and development. The demands for increased wages, leaves, and for better working conditions, and strict environmental restrictions, all of this makes the west less useful in globalization. Its forces are unstoppable and irrevocable.

Today, humanity is exposed to existential threats and global problems that require global solutions. Like the recent apocalyptic pandemic, the COVID 19, the recent resurgence of AIDS, malaria, and monkeypox, and the worsening climate change, all these threats are unknown. -an boundaries, so it takes time to create the system for a joint effort that is not appropriate. also know the boundaries.

In short, globalization is the global heritage which means that no single country, civilization or region has the right to reap it at the expense of others’ exploitation. The recent changes in the global order of the world, the Global East has become more advantageous than the global west which makes the letter wary of the promises of globalization. So we have recently witnessed the rise of inward marching, Brexit, trumpism, hyper nationalism and so on. But it has been established that the main forces of globalization are inevitable and insurmountable. The Global problems that the world has revealed are in dire need of global solutions instead of scattered, individual, national or regional ones.
