- EKI has signed a Charter of Collaboration with DNV, an independent assurance and risk management regulator based in Norway, to promote awareness and support ecosystem management of climate change.
- The collaboration is in line with EKI’s goal of a net-zero future as EKI will extend advisory services to DNV’s assurance customers to help them achieve their carbon neutrality and net-zero goals.
- The initiative seeks to improve credibility for the Indian Emission trading ecosystem as part of the Energy Conservation Bill 2022 passed by the Govt of India.
EKI Energy Services Ltd. (EKI), a leading developer and supplier of carbon credits worldwide, today announced that it has partnered with DNV Supply Chain & Product Assurance, a Norway-based independent assurance and risk management provider, to promote climate transition ecosystem with innovation and digitalization through several measures agreed by the two organizations as part of the Charter of Collaboration.
Under the collaboration, EKI will provide advisory services to DNV’s assurance customers on their journey towards carbon neutrality and net-zero in addition to GHG inventory/ESG and sustainability assurance services.
The collaboration also seeks to bridge the gap between capital market sustainable finance and carbon finance through innovative debt financial instrument assurance with DNV’s extensive experience, deep expertise and global reach as the company operates in more than 100 countries.
