The Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies was accompanied by Singapore Ambassador to Vietnam Jaya Ratnam, the Principal Private Secretary to Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies Wong Kang Jet, together with officials from the PMO, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Enterprise Singapore, and the Economic Development Board.
The Deputy Prime Minister and his delegation were welcomed by FPT Corporation Chairman Dr. Truong Gia Binh, FPT Software Chairwoman Ms. Chu Thi Thanh Ha, FPT Software Chief Financial Officer and Senior Executive Vice President Mr. Nguyen Khai Hoan, and FPT Software Asia- Pacific Chief Executive Officer David Nguyen.
The visit is within the framework of the official visit of Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat, to highlight the excellent relations between Singapore and Vietnam and reaffirm the bilateral commitment to deepen cooperation between the two countries. This includes enhancing cooperation between private sector businesses in Vietnam and Singapore.
As part of the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister embarked on a campus tour and viewed 20 strategic technology and delivery centers that FPT Software has set up and operates for Singapore’s leading businesses in various industries such as telecommunications , healthcare, construction, real estate, transportation, aerospace, aviation and finance & banking. These strategic centers play an important role in providing advanced technology services, and strengthening the capacity of technology talent for Singapore businesses.
During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat shared his congratulations on the 34th anniversary of FPT Corporation. He also affirmed that the use of natural resources, green energy and technology are important in shaping the future. To unlock the potential of these factors, man is the decisive factor.

The third complex, which is still under construction, will provide another 7,000 seats for IT experts, which is expected to be ready for operation in 2023.
